Limit Sets of Free Convergence Groups
Siberian Mathematical Journal, 2001Summary: We study the limit sets of convergence groups and prove that the limit set of a free discontinuous cocompact convergence group with an invariant component of the discontinuity domain is a discontinuum.

Summary: An algorithm is proposed for the minimization of a smooth function subject to smooth inequality constraints. Unlike sequential quadratic programming type methods, this algorithm does not involve the solution of quadratic programs, but merely that of linear systems of equations.

Pincushion Distortion-Free Self-Convergence Deflection System
IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, 1979Since social demand for energy and material saving has been increasing recent years, the worldwide trend in color television receivers today is toward greater power saving, higher reliability, lower cost and higher performance.

Strong convergence for reduced free products
Infinite Dimensional Analysis, Quantum Probability and Related Topics, 2016Using an inequality due to Ricard and Xu, we give a different proof of Paul Skoufranis’s recent result showing that the strong convergence of possibly non-commutative random variables [Formula: see text] is stable under reduced free product with a fixed non-commutative random variable [Formula: see text]. In fact we obtain a more general fact: assuming

Summary: We propose a new QP-free method, which ensures the feasibility of all iterates, for inequality constrained optimization. The method is based on a nonsmooth equation reformulation of the KKT optimality condition, by using the Fischer-Burmeister nonlinear complementarity problem function.

Free commutative convergence groups
1997Apart from their theoretical interest, free topological objects are also a resource for counterexamples. So the free commutative group over a completely regular, non-normal topological space is an example of a non-normal topological group. In this paper we construct the free commutative convergence group \({\mathcal A}_c(X)\) over a Hausdorff ...

Tensor Products of Convergence-Free Spaces
1986Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the tensor products of convergence-free spaces. The π-tensor product λ⊗πμ and the ɛ-tensor product λ⊗ɛμ are identical, where λ, μ are two such spaces, the π-topology and the ɛ-topology coincide on λ⊗μ. The chapter states that an equivalent formulation of this problem that shows that the problem has been solved

Convergence Results for an Analytical Trial Free-Boundary Method
IMA Journal of Numerical Analysis, 1988We consider a free-boundary problem, in two dimensions, involving an ideal fluid flow with constant pressure on the free boundary. (A three- dimensional generalization is also considered.) For this problem, we give a novel definition for the iterations of an analytical trial free- boundary method for approximating the solution.
