Bimetallic (NiFe) and Trimetallic (NiFeCr) Nanoalloys from Metal Oxides Using a Microwave Hydrogen Plasma

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Bimetallic (NiFe) and trimetallic (NiFeCr) nanoalloys (NAs) are synthesized using corresponding oxide mixtures using microwave hydrogen plasma within a few milliseconds. The process simultaneously 1) reduces metal oxides to metals; 2) downsizes the particles from micrometers to nanometers; and 3) blends the metals to form NAs.

THE ALMOST SURE CONVERGENCE OF WEIGHTED SUMS OF NEGATIVELY DEPENDENT RANDOM VARIABLES [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Sciences, Islamic Republic of Iran, 1999
In this paper we study the almost universal convergence of weighted sums for sequence {x ,n } of negatively dependent (ND) uniformly bounded random variables, where a, k21 is an may of nonnegative real numbers such that 0(k ) for every ?> 0 and E|x

On exponential convergence of random variables

open access: yesApplicationes Mathematicae
Given the discrete-time sequence of nonnegative random variables, general dependencies between the exponential convergence of the expectations, exponential convergence of the trajectories and the logarithmic growth of the corresponding expected hitting times are analysed.

Removing Homocoupling Defects in Alkoxy/Alkyl‐PBTTT Enhances Polymer:Fullerene Co‐Crystal Formation and Stability

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
PBTTT‐OR‐R, a C14‐alkoxy/alkyl‐PBTTT polymer derivative, is of substantial interest for optoelectronics due to its specific fullerene intercalation behavior and enhanced charge‐transfer absorption. Comparing this polymer with (S) and without (O) homocoupling defects reveals that PBTTT‐OR‐R(O) forms stable co‐crystals with PC61BM, while PBTTT‐OR‐R(S ...

Some Types of Convergence for Negatively Dependent Random Variables under Sublinear Expectations

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2019
In this paper, we research complete convergence and almost sure convergence under the sublinear expectations. As applications, we extend some complete and almost sure convergence theorems for weighted sums of negatively dependent random variables from ...

Probabilistic norms and convergence of random variables

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2003
We prove that probabilistic norms of suitable Probabilistic Normed spaces induce convergence in probability,L^p convergence and almost sure convergence.

${\mu}$- Integrable Functions and Weak Convergence of Finite Measures

open access: yes, 2018
This paper deals with functions that defined in metric spaces and valued in complete paranormed vector spaces or valued in Banach spaces, and obtains some necessary and sufficient conditions for weak convergence of finite measures.Comment: We generalize ...

3D (Bio) Printing Combined Fiber Fabrication Methods for Tissue Engineering Applications: Possibilities and Limitations

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Biofabrication aims at providing innovative technologies and tools for the fabrication of tissue‐like constructs for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. By integrating multiple biofabrication technologies, such as 3D (bio) printing with fiber fabrication methods, it would be more realistic to reconstruct native tissue's ...
