Bioinspired Stabilization of Fluorescent Au@SiO2 Tracers for Multimodal Biological Imaging
Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.This study demonstrates a bioinspired stabilization strategy for fluorescent gold‐silica nanoparticles. Inspired by natural biosilica maturation, high‐temperature calcination transforms the silica shells, preventing dissolution in cell culture media and intracellular environments.

s‐Orbital Mediated Metavalent Bonding Enables State‐Of‐The‐Art n‐Type AgBiSe2 Thermoelectrics
Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.Metavalent bonding (MVB) underpins the exceptional property portfolio of chalcogenides. Typical MVB solids are mainly found in p‐bonded systems. This work reveals that MVB can also be formed with s‐p orbital interactions upon forming a single‐electron σ‐bond, as exemplified in AgBiSe2.

Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.We present ultrathin flexible transparent electrodes through iCVD‐enabled molecular control of 10 nm gold films on poly(dimethylaminomethylstyrene). In vivo validation demonstrated photoelectric artifact reduction vs. opaque electrodes and preservation of natural neural dynamics.
