Item Convergent Validity

A method of assessing item convergent validity of non-objectively scored items is presented. Developed within the conceptual framework of Campbell and Fiske (2), the new methodology is analogous to the technique developed by Krus and Ney (5) for objectively scored items.

Convergent Validation of the Illness Effects Questionnaire

The Illness Effects Questionnaire, Illness Behavior Questionnaire, and visual analog scales of mood were given to 100 adults with nonmalignant headaches.
