Hypergeometric identities for 10 extended Ramanujan-type series [PDF]
We prove, by the WZ-method, some hypergeometric identities which relate ten extended Ramanujan type series to simpler hypergeometric series. The identities we are going to prove are valid for all the values of a parameter $a$ when they are convergent. Sometimes, even if they do not converge, they are valid if we consider these identities as limits.

On the Asymptotic Convergence of the Transient and Steady State Fluctuation Theorems [PDF]
Non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations are used to demonstrate the asymptotic convergence of the Transient and Steady State forms of the Fluctuation Theorem. In the case of planar Poiseuille flow, we find that the Transient form, valid for all times, converges to the Steady State form on microscopic time scales.

This study presents a 3D representative volume element‐based simulation approach to predict mesoscopic residual stress and strain fields in silicon solid solution‐strengthened ductile cast iron. By modeling phase transformation kinetics with an enhanced Johnson–Mehl–Avrami–Kolmogorov model, the effects of varying cooling rates on residual stresses are ...

Rough convergence of sequences in a cone metric space [PDF]
Here we have introduced the idea of rough convergence of sequences in a cone metric space. Also it has been investigated how far several basic properties of rough convergence as valid in a normed linear space are affected in a cone metric space.

Online Output-Feedback Parameter and State Estimation for Second Order Linear Systems [PDF]
In this paper, a concurrent learning based adaptive observer is developed for a class of second-order linear time-invariant systems with uncertain system matrices. The developed technique yields an exponentially convergent state estimator and an exponentially convergent parameter estimator.

PBTTT‐OR‐R, a C14‐alkoxy/alkyl‐PBTTT polymer derivative, is of substantial interest for optoelectronics due to its specific fullerene intercalation behavior and enhanced charge‐transfer absorption. Comparing this polymer with (S) and without (O) homocoupling defects reveals that PBTTT‐OR‐R(O) forms stable co‐crystals with PC61BM, while PBTTT‐OR‐R(S ...

Convergence analysis of a Petrov-Galerkin method for fractional wave problems with nonsmooth data [PDF]
This paper analyzes the convergence of a Petrov-Galerkin method for time fractional wave problems with nonsmooth data. Well-posedness and regularity of the weak solution to the time fractional wave problem are firstly established. Then an optimal convergence analysis with nonsmooth data is derived.
