Can Gallbladder Wall Thickness and Systemic Inflammatory Index Values Predict the Possibility of Conversion from Laparoscopy to Open Surgery? [PDF]
Background/Objective: This study aims to develop an objective marker that predicts the risk of conversion from laparoscopy to open surgery using gallbladder wall thickness and inflammatory index values ...

Conversion to open surgery in the era of laparoscopic cholecystectomy: Rates and reasons

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Contributing Factors and Conversion Prevalence of Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy to Open Surgery [PDF]
Back ground: The application of laparoscopic technique for cholecystectomy is expanding very rapidly and now performed in almost all major cities and tertiary level hospitals in our country. The laparoscopic approach brings numerous advantages at the expense of a new set of diffi culties leads to open conversion especially in training facilities.

Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting
