Some Characterizations of Convex Interval Games [PDF]
This paper focuses on two characterizations of convex interval games using the notions of superadditivity and exactness, respectively. We also relate big boss interval games with concave interval games and obtain characterizations of big boss interval ...

Certain Geometric Investigations of Three Normalized Bessel-Type Functions of a Complex Variable
We recall the normalized forms for the three Bessel-type functions; these functions are the Bessel function, Lommel function, and Struve function of the first kind. By using convolution, we define normalized forms.

Infinitesimal Convexity Implies Local Convexity [PDF]
(the tangent space at p) such that expU has no points of M onthe \inside" of L. By the inside of Lwe mean the component of a tubularneighbor hood with Ldeleted which corresponds to the negative multiplesof the orienting normal vector eld under exp. The exponential maps arethose of M.It is an immediate consequence of one of the standard interpretations ...

Non-convex mixed-integer nonlinear programming : a survey [PDF]
A wide range of problems arising in practical applications can be formulated as Mixed-Integer Nonlinear Programs (MINLPs). For the case in which the objective and constraint functions are convex, some quite effective exact and heuristic algorithms are ...

Some Remarks on Ozaki, Ono and Umezawa’s Results
Recall that in On a general second order derivative, Sci. Rep. Tokyo Kyoiku Daigaku A, 5(124–127)(1956), 111–114, Ozaki, Ono and Umezawa proved a result that if f(z) is analytic and satisfies |f″(z)|

The Schur-convexity of the mean of a convex function
The authors establish the Schur-convexity at the upper and lower limits of the integral for the mean of a convex function. Furthermore, a new proof of the inequality \[ f\bigg(\frac{a+b}{2}\bigg)=H(0) \leq H(t) \leq H(1)= \frac1{b-a}\int^ b_ a f(x)\,dx \] obtained by \textit{S. S. Dragomir} [J. Math. Anal. Convex Imprecise Previsions for Risk Measurement [PDF]
In this paper we introduce convex imprecise previsions as a special class of imprecise previsions, showing that they retain or generalise most of the relevant properties of coherent imprecise previsions but are not necessarily positively homogeneous. The

Laser‐assisted synthesis enables rapid (within 1 h) and high‐yield (≥90%) production of Co‐MOFs with mesoporous structures, tunable magnetic and optical properties, and efficient adsorption of N2, CH4, and CO2 for low‐energy gas separation. DFT calculations elucidate the electronic structure and adsorption behavior.
