CONVEX SEQUENCE AND CONVEX POLYGON
In this paper, we deal with the question; under what conditions the points $P_i(xi,yi)$ $(i = 1,\cdots, n)$ form a convex polygon provided $x_1 < \cdots < x_n$ holds. One of the main findings of the paper can be stated as follows: "Let $P_1(x_1,y_1),\cdots ,P_n(x_n,y_n)$ are $n$ distinct points ($n\geq3$) with $x_1< ...

Convex-cyclic matrices, convex-polynomial interpolation and invariant convex sets [PDF]
We define a convex-polynomial to be one that is a convex combination of the monomials $\{1, z, z^2, \ldots\}$. This paper explores the intimate connection between peaking convex-polynomials, interpolating convex-polynomials, invariant convex sets, and the dynamics of matrices.

Tunable Tactile Synapses Enabled by Erasable Doping in Iongel‐Gated Nanotube Network Transistors
Artificial tactile synaptic sensors are realized by an iongel‐gated single‐walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) transistor with reversible doping characteristics. The device senses and memorizes tactile stimuli and exhibits gate bias‐dependent excitatory or inhibitory synaptic behavior.

Convex pentagons and convex hexagons that can form rotationally symmetric tilings
In this study, the properties of convex hexagons that can generate rotationally symmetric edge-to-edge tilings are discussed. Since the convex hexagons are equilateral convex parallelohexagons, convex pentagons generated by bisecting the hexagons can ...

Tunable Thermoshrinkable Hydrogels for 4D Fabrication of Cell‐Seeded Channels
A thermoresponsive polymer with methacrylate groups for photo‐cross‐linking, based on polyethylene glycol, N‐isopropylacrylamide, and 2‐hydroxyethyl acrylate is synthetized to yield hydrogels that shrink upon temperature increase. The new polymer enables the fabrication of cell‐laden perfusable channels with diameters below 200 µm by combining ...

Finite convex geometries of circles [PDF]
Let F be a finite set of circles in the plane. We point out that the usual convex closure restricted to F yields a convex geometry, that is, a combinatorial structure introduced by P. H Edelman in 1980 under the name "anti-exchange closure system".

Omnidirectional Transmissive Acoustic Metasurfaces Based on Goldberg Polyhedra
This study introduces omnidirectional acoustic metasurfaces capable of manipulating wavefronts in multiple arbitrary directions simultaneously. A full‐stack pipeline for design, optimization, and fabrication is presented to construct near‐spherical holograms based on Goldberg polyhedra.

On the Krein-Milman-Ky Fan theorem for convex compact metrizable sets
The Krein-Milman theorem (1940) states that every convex compact subset of a Hausdorfflocally convex topological space, is the closed convex hull of its extreme points.

A strategy of sieving catalysis based on the MIL‐101(Cr) with multistage pore structure and Lewis acid sites has been proposed as the catalyst to accelerate the kinetics of desolvation and redox conversion of sulfur species, achieving high performance Mg‐S batteries.

Chemo‐Mechanical Coupling in Hydrogels: Dynamics in the Diffusion‐Limited Regime
A time‐dependent continuum model is developed to capture the transient swelling dynamics of chemo‐mechanical hydrogels. By coupling chemical reactions, solvent transport, and polymer deformation, volume phase transitions, reaction kinetics, and transient mechanical instabilities are analyzed.
