Novel Functional Materials via 3D Printing by Vat Photopolymerization

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This Perspective systematically analyzes strategies for incorporating functionalities into 3D‐printed materials via Vat Photopolymerization (VP). It explores the spectrum of achievable functionalities in recently reported novel materials—such as conductive, energy‐storing, biodegradable, stimuli‐responsive, self‐healing, shape‐memory, biomaterials, and

A Riesz representation theorem for cone-valued functions

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 1999
We consider Borel measures on a locally compact Hausdorff space whose values are linear functionals on a locally convex cone. We define integrals for cone-valued functions and verify that continuous linear functionals on certain spaces of continuous cone-

Dispensing Volumetric Additive Manufacturing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Dispensing volumetric additive manufacturing (DVAM) prints 3D structures inside a photocurable resin droplet suspended from the tip of a glass pipette, enabling sequential printing without resin vats or manual part removal. Real‐time droplet profiling and ray‐tracing‐based correction compensate for optical distortion at the curved resin‐air interface ...

Application of Plasmonic Nanoantennas in Enhancing the Efficiency of Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2020
It is known that the periodic use of silver nanoantennas in organic solar cells increases the efficiency of light absorption. In this study, we performed a geometric parametric analysis of nanoantennas using the finite element method.

Aggregating distributed energy resources for grid flexibility services: A distributed game theoretic approach

open access: yesInternational Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, EarlyView., 2023
Abstract We propose a hierarchical energy management scheme for aggregating Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) for grid flexibility services. To prevent a direct participation of numerous prosumers in the wholesale electricity market, aggregators, as self‐interest agents in our scheme, incentivize prosumers to provide flexibility. We firstly model the

Convex polyhedra with triangular faces and cone triangulation [PDF]

open access: yesYugoslav Journal of Operations Research, 2011
Considering the problem of the minimal triangulation for a given polyhedra (dividing polyhedra into tetrahedra) it is known that the cone triangulation provides the number of tetrahedra which is the smallest, or the closest to it.

Discrete automorphism groups of convex cones of finite type

open access: yes, 2014
We investigate subgroups of SL (n,Z) which preserve an open nondegenerate convex cone in real n-space and admit in that cone as fundamental domain a polyhedral cone of which some faces are allowed to lie on the boundary.

Packed for Ossification: High‐Density Bioprinting of hPDC Spheroids in HAMA Toward Endochondral Ossification

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Human periosteum‐derived cell spheroids bioprinted at high density within a hyaluronic acid matrix promote fusion and hypertrophic cartilage formation in vitro. Early encapsulation enhances spheroid interaction and matrix maturation, generating scalable cartilage templates intended for endochondral bone regeneration.

The Moment Problem for Continuous Positive Semidefinite Linear functionals

open access: yes, 2012
Let $\tau$ be a locally convex topology on the countable dimensional polynomial $\reals$-algebra $\rx:=\reals[X_1,...,X_n]$. Let $K$ be a closed subset of $\reals^n$, and let $M:=M_{\{g_1, ... g_s\}}$ be a finitely generated quadratic module in $\rx$. We
