The eye–brain neuroimmune axis triggers immune activation and disrupts pathological neuronal connectivity to extend glioblastoma survival. ABSTRACT As an anatomical extension of the central nervous system (CNS), the eye harbors rich neural and immune interfaces with the brain. However, the integrated immunological and neurological nexus between the eye

Study on flow characteristics of pneumatic conveying of stiff shotcrete materials by CFD-DEM
Long-distance pneumatic conveying of stiff shotcrete materials (SSM) is critical for modern mining and tunnel engineering but remains underexplored, with existing studies limited to short-distance systems.

In this research, physical properties of corn and barley seeds were first determined and then, to obtain the change in pressure drop, power consumption and mechanical seed damage as a function of air velocity during suction conveying of corn and barley, a suction-type pneumatic conveying system was designed and constructed and finally the pneumatic ...

This study reveals that fear learning specifically triggers PICK1/DHHC2‐dependent palmitoylation of PSD‐95 in the lateral amygdala. Fear conditioning induces the dissociation of DHHC5 from PSD‐95 and the association of PSD‐95 with DHHC2. DHHC2‐mediated palmitoylation of PSD‐95 is required for synaptic transmission and underlies fear learning–induced ...

A Multimodal Haptic Feedback Interface with Thin‐Film Compliant Mechanism
Multimodal haptic devices can trigger different mechanoreceptors, enabling richer haptic information. This study presents an electromagnetic multimodal haptic device capable of delivering indentation, stretch, and vibration stimuli. The device is enabled by a novel polymer thin‐film compliant mechanism that provides high translational compliance along ...

We present a stimulus‐replicating system combining a tactile sensor with a wearable Peltier thermotactile module and concentric electrotactile electrode. Signals encoding pressure and temperature drive the stimulators to reproduce mechano‐thermal cues on the skin. AlN/PDMS encapsulation and SA/LA PSA ensure mechanical compliance and thermal efficiency.
