Beyond islands: a free probabilistic approach
We give a free probabilistic proposal to compute the fine-grained radiation entropy for an arbitrary bulk radiation state, in the context of the Penington-Shenker-Stanford-Yang (PSSY) model where the gravitational path integral can be implemented with ...

Interaction of Dirac δ$$ \delta $$‐Waves in the Inviscid Levine and Sleeman Chemotaxis Model
ABSTRACT This article investigates interactions of δ$$ \delta $$‐shock waves in the inviscid Levine and Sleeman chemotaxis model ut−λ(uv)x=0$$ {u}_t-\lambda {(uv)}_x=0 $$, vt−ux=0$$ {v}_t-{u}_x=0 $$. The analysis employs a distributional product and a solution concept that extends the classical solution concept.

THE ANALOGUE OF WEIGHTED GROUP ALGEBRA FOR SEMITOPOLOGICAL SEMIGROUPS [PDF]
In [1,2,3], A. C. Baker and J.W. Baker studied the subspace Ma(S) of the convolution measure algebra M, (S) of a locally compact semigroup. H. Dzinotyiweyi in [5,7] considers an analogous measure space on a large class of C-distinguished topological ...

Change of Scale Formulas for Wiener Integrals Related to Fourier-Feynman Transform and Convolution
Cameron and Storvick discovered change of scale formulas for Wiener integrals of functionals in Banach algebra S on classical Wiener space. Yoo and Skoug extended these results for functionals in the Fresnel class F(B) and in a generalized Fresnel class ...

$L^p$-Conjecture on Hypergroups [PDF]
In this paper, we study $L^p$-conjecture on locally compact hypergroups and by some technical proofs we give some sufficient and necessary conditions for a weighted Lebesgue space $L^p(K,w)$ to be a convolution Banach algebra, where ...

Convolutional Filtering With RKHS Algebras
In this paper, we develop a generalized theory of convolutional signal processing and neural networks for Reproducing Kernel Hilbert Spaces (RKHS). Leveraging the theory of algebraic signal processing (ASP), we show that any RKHS allows the formal definition of multiple algebraic convolutional models.

Topological centres of weighted convolution algebras [PDF]
This paper constitutes the continuation of the authors' investigation of topological centres of convolution algebras started in [J. Funct. Anal. 250, No. 1, 144--166 (2007; Zbl 1125.43002)]. Let \(G\) be a non-compact locally compact group with a continuous submultiplicative weight function \(\omega\) such that \(\omega(e_G) = 1\) and \(\omega\) is ...

ABSTRACT Purpose To improve slice profile consistency across echo trains in turbo spin echo (TSE) imaging, thereby reducing image blurring and increasing the accuracy of multi echo spin echo T2$$ {T}_2 $$ mapping. Methods Excitation and refocusing RF pulses were optimized for TSE using a differentiable extended phase graph model that incorporates the ...

Functional calculus for generators of analytic semigroups of operators
We construct a functional calculus for generators of one-parameter bounded analytic semigroups of operators on a Banach space. The calculus symbol class consist of the Laplace image of the convolution algebra $\cal S'_+$ of tempered distributions with ...
