A convolution integral equation solved by Laplace transformations [PDF]
The author analyzes the Volterra equation \(p(t)=\int^{t}_{0}K(t- s)p(s)ds+r(t),\) \(t\geq 0\), where K(t), r(t) grow as \(\exp (\alpha t^ 3)\), \(\alpha >0\), for \(t\to \infty\). This rapid growth excludes the straightforward use of Laplace transform techniques; instead the equation is solved using a complex independent variable.

On the generalized convolution for F c , F s , and K–L integral transforms [PDF]
New generalized noncommutative convolutions with weight function \(\gamma(y) = y\) are introduced on the spaces \(L^1(\mathbb R_+, x^\alpha e^{-\beta x}).\) They satisfy the usual factorization equalities with respect to various integral transforms (Fourier sine, Fourier cosine and Kontorovich-Lebedev). Several applications are listed.

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Integral Transforms of Fourier Cosine Convolution Type
The author investigates integral transforms of the type \[ g(x)= \int^\infty_0 [k(x+ y)+ k(| x-y|)] f(y)dy,\quad x\in\mathbb{R}_+ \] in spaces \(L_p(\mathbb{R}_+)\), \(1\leq p\leq 2\). It is proved that this transformation is a bounded operator from \(L_p(\mathbb{R}_+)\), \(1\leq p\leq 2\) into \(L_q(\mathbb{R}_+)\), \(p^{-1}+ q^{-1}= 1\). Furthermore,

BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Rapid screening of staphylokinase protein variants using an unpurified cell‐free expression system
An unpurified cell‐free protein synthesis (CFPS) platform enables rapid functional screening of staphylokinase variants. Direct plasminogen‐activation assays performed in microplate format provide real‐time activity readouts, allowing rapid identification and ranking of variants with improved or reduced fibrinolytic activity without protein ...

Isometry property and inversion of a spherical mean Radon transform with centers on a hyperplane
The spherical mean Radon transform maps a suitable function f to the integral of f over a sphere. This transform is used in photoacoustic tomography based on the wave equation.
