Nuevas técnicas de deconvolución dispersa robusta [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
La deconvolución dispersa consiste en estimar una señal de reducido número de muestras no nulas a partir de un conjunto de observaciones ruidosas, que se suponen originadas por la convolución entre una señal de aspecto impulsivo y la respuesta al ...

STICI: Split-Transformer with integrated convolutions for genotype imputation

open access: yesNature Communications
Despite advances in sequencing technologies, genome-scale datasets often contain missing bases and genomic segments, hindering downstream analyses. Genotype imputation addresses this issue and has been a cornerstone pre-processing step in genetic and genomic studies.

Memory and Resting‐State Connectivity in Acute Transient Global Amnesia: A Case–Control fMRI Study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Transient global amnesia (TGA) is a striking model of isolated amnesia. While hippocampal lesions are well described, the network‐level mechanisms and the precise neuropsychological profile remain debated. Our objective was thus to characterize functional and neuropsychological correlates of acute TGA and their ...

Artificial Intelligence in Systemic Sclerosis: Clinical Applications, Challenges, and Future Directions

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a rare autoimmune disease defined by immune dysregulation, vasculopathy, and progressive fibrosis of the skin and internal organs. Despite advances in care, major complications such as interstitial lung disease (ILD) and myocardial involvement remain the leading causes of morbidity and mortality.

Distance-Domain Degrees of Freedom in Near-Field Region

open access: yesIEEE Access
Extremely large aperture array operating in the near-field regime unlock additional spatial resources, which can be exploited to simultaneously serve multiple users even when they share the same angular direction.

Convolutions and Fourier-Feynman transforms of functionals involving multiple integrals.

open access: yesMichigan Mathematical Journal, 1996
Fourier transforms with respect to the analytic Feynman integral and the related topics: convolution product and its Fourier transform, the inversion formula, Parseval's identity, are discussed for functionals involving multiple time integrals, e.g., of the form \[ F(x)=\exp [\int^T_0 \int^T_0f(s,t,x(s), x(t))ds dt]. \] Two situations are considered: a

A Workflow to Accelerate Microstructure‐Sensitive Fatigue Life Predictions

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces a workflow to accelerate predictions of microstructure‐sensitive fatigue life. Results from frameworks with varying levels of simplification are benchmarked against published reference results. The analysis reveals a trade‐off between accuracy and model complexity, offering researchers a practical guide for selecting the optimal ...

Multimodal Data‐Driven Microstructure Characterization

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A self‐consistent autonomous workflow for EBSP‐based microstructure segmentation by integrating PCA, GMM clustering, and cNMF with information‐theoretic parameter selection, requiring no user input. An optimal ROI size related to characteristic grain size is identified.

Runge-Kutta methods for parabolic equations and convolution quadrature

open access: yes, 1993
We study the approximation properties of Runge-Kutta time discretizations of linear and semilinear parabolic equations, including incompressible Navier-Stokes equations.

Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.
