Systemic dysregulation of apolipoproteins in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis serum
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal disease that damages motor neurons. This study found that people with ALS show significant changes in blood fats and the proteins that carry them. Several apolipoproteins were higher, lipid balances were altered, and normal protein–lipid relationships were disrupted.

MEAN VALUES AND MEAN-CONVOLUTION PRODUCTS
This paper is concerned with mean values and mean convolution products for bounded measurable functions on \(R^m\). These are computed with respect to a weight function \(h(x)\), which is nonnegative and has the unit mass. The limit \(M(h,f)\) of \((1/L^m)I[h((x-y)/L)f(y)]\), as \(L\) goes to infinity, when it exists independently of \(x\), is the mean

Conditional Fourier-Feynman Transforms with Drift on a Function Space
In this paper we derive change of scale formulas for conditional analytic Fourier-Feynman transforms and conditional convolution products of the functions which are the products of generalized cylinder functions and the functions in a Banach algebra ...

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

The MRP4 transporter exports several drugs and signaling molecules. Here, we identified key promoter elements regulating basal MRP4 expression. Using reporter assays, we defined a conserved region with essential Sp1 and contributory Ets sites, which controlled basal MRP4 expression.

On the operations of sequences in rings and binomial type sequences
Given a commutative ring with identity $R$, many different and interesting operations can be defined over the set $H_R$ of sequences of elements in $R$. These operations can also give $H_R$ the structure of a ring.

ABSTRACT Objective To investigate the value of constructing models based on habitat radiomics and pathomics for predicting the risk of progression in high‐grade gliomas. Methods This study conducted a retrospective analysis of preoperative magnetic resonance (MR) images and pathological sections from 72 patients diagnosed with high‐grade gliomas (52 ...

Conditionally convergent integrals of convolution products.
On the subject of multiplication of series, a great deal of work has been done, investigating the extent to which the Cauchy product \(\sum c_ n\) of two series \(\sum a_ n\) and \(\sum b_ n\) will converge to \((\sum a_ n)(\sum b_ n).\) In this work some of the classical results are sharpened, generalized and presented in an abstract setting in terms ...
