Knowledge-guided machine learning reveals pivotal drivers for gas-to-particle conversion of atmospheric nitrate

open access: yesEnvironmental Science and Ecotechnology
Particulate nitrate, a key component of fine particles, forms through the intricate gas-to-particle conversion process. This process is regulated by the gas-to-particle conversion coefficient of nitrate (ε(NO3−)).

Study on SO3 Cooperative Removal Effect of Ultra-low Emission Technology in Coal-fired Power Plants

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences, 2018
SO3 is one of the main precursors of atmospheric PM2.5, and its emission has attracted more and more attention in the industry. This paper briefly analyzes the harm of SO3 and the method of controlled condensation to test SO3.

Quasiclassical approach to synergic synchrotron–Cherenkov radiation in polarized vacuum

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2020
Photon emission by an ultrarelativistic charged particle in extremely strong magnetic field is analyzed, with vacuum polarization and photon recoil taken into account. Vacuum polarization is treated phenomenologically via refractive index.

Binder Engineering Suppresses Jahn–Teller‐Driven Mn Dissolution and Enables High‐Loading MnO2 Cathodes for Aqueous Zn‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A Zn2+‐coordinated poly(vinylidene fluoride) binder is shown to suppress Jahn–Teller‐driven Mn dissolution while improving dispersion, wettability, and structural integrity in thick MnO2 cathodes. This simple binder‐engineering strategy enables high‐loading aqueous Zn‐ion batteries with enhanced areal capacity, cycling stability, and practical promise ...

Dual‐Inductive and Programmable Switching: A New Paradigm in Ionic Interface‐Controlled Perovskite Memory

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A fully programmable, dual‐inductive switchable halide perovskite memristor is demonstrated through precise BDAI2‐mediated interface engineering. This ion‐modulating layer suppresses stochastic filamentary growth, enabling stable, non‐filamentary switching via dynamic barrier modulation.

Pressure-Induced Blue-Shifted and Enhanced Emission: A Cooperative Effect between Aggregation-Induced Emission and Energy-Transfer Suppression

open access: yes, 2020
Most organic piezochromic materials exhibit red-shifted and quenched emission as pressure increases. However, an abnormal phenomenon of pressure-induced blue-shifted and enhanced emission is observed in a 9-(3-(1,2,2-triphenylvinyl)phenyl)anthracene ...

3D Printing Innovations in Polymeric Porous and Patterned Architecture

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Polymeric foams occupy a unique structural space between dense solids and open networks, where engineered void fraction governs mechanical compliance, thermal resistance, and mass transport. Additive manufacturing now enables precise spatial control over cellular architecture, unlocking designer foam structures across applications spanning crash ...

Tailoring Li‐ion Storage and Transport in Two‐Dimensional Conjugated Metal‐Organic Frameworks via Precise Nitrogen Incorporation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Two nitrogen‐doped 2D conjugated metal‐organic frameworks (2D c‐MOFs, namely Cu‐Nx‐OHBA, x = 2 or 4) are synthesized, featuring precise nitrogen incorporation via rational ligand design. The Cu‐Nx‐OHBA 2D c‐MOFs are largely tailorable by varying skeletal nitrogen density, with respect to electrical conductivity, Li‐storage capacitance, and Li‐transport

Cooperative Lamb shift and superradiance in an optoelectronic device

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2017
When a single excitation is shared between a large number of two-level systems, a strong enhancement of the spontaneous emission appears. This phenomenon is known as superradiance.

Operational Decision Model with Carbon Cap Allocation and Carbon Trading Price

open access: yesJournal of Open Innovation: Technology, Market and Complexity, 2019
This paper considers a carbon emission cap and trade market, where the carbon emission cap for each entity (either government or firm) is allocated first and then the carbon trading price is decided interdependently in the carbon trading market among the
