Restricted Non-Cooperative Games [PDF]

open access: yesSSRN Electronic Journal, 2006
Traditional non-cooperative game theory has been an extraordinarily powerful tool in modeling biological and economic behavior, as well as the effect of legal rules. And, although it contains plausible concepts of equilibrium behavior, it does not a theory of dynamics as to how equilibria are to be reached.

Chronic Hypoxia Disrupts Spermatogenesis Through ASXL2–EZH2–Mediated Microtubule Destabilization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals the mechanism by which chronic hypoxia impairs spermatogenesis via the ASXL2–EZH2 axis, hindering the transition of spermatids from round to elongated forms. Key findings reveal that under hypoxic conditions, downregulated ASXL2 expression reduces EZH2 binding to the CEP162 promoter, leading to decreased H3K27me3 modification and ...

A Non-cooperative Foundation of Core-Stability in Positive Externality NTU-Coalition Games [PDF]

open access: yes
We identify the core as an appealing stability concept of cooperative game theory, but argue that the non-cooperative approach has conceptual advantages in the context of economic problems with externalities.

Cooperative Product Games

open access: yesInternational Game Theory Review
A cooperative product game is a transferable utility game defined by associating the product of given players’ coefficient to coalitions. This idea has been introduced by Rosales, D. ([2014] Cooperative product games, unpublished mimeo, www.academia.edu/40176429) where he investigates the core. Here, we analyze a corrected definition of a product game

QBP1 Peptide as a Potential Anti‐Amyloidogenic Therapy for Type 2 Diabetes: An In Vitro Study

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The anti‐amyloidogenic peptide QBP1 effectively halts human islet amyloid polypeptide (hIAPP) aggregation, preventing the formation of toxic β‐structured intermediates. Through a combination of biophysical assays, molecular dynamics, and cell‐based studies, QBP1 is shown to preserve β‐cell viability and metabolic homeostasis, positioning it as a ...

Formation of coalition structures as a non-cooperative game

open access: yes, 2017
Traditionally social sciences are interested in structuring people in multiple groups based on their individual preferences. This pa- per suggests an approach to this problem in the framework of a non- cooperative game theory.

Consensus Formation and Change are Enhanced by Neutrality

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Neutral agents are shown to enhance both the formation and overturning of consensus in collective decision‐making. A general mathematical model and experiments with locusts and humans reveal that neutrality enables robust consensus via simple interactions and accelerates consensus change by reducing effective population size.

Research on Tripartite Evolutionary Game and Stability Analysis Considering Multi-Agent Cooperation Between Pumped Storage Station and Wind-Solar Power Stations [PDF]

open access: yesDianli jianshe
Against the background of the goal of “carbon peak and carbon neutrality”, it will be inevitable to form multi-agent cooperative alliance between pumped storage stations, wind power stations, and photovoltaic power stations driven by interests.

Subgame Consistent Cooperative Behavior in an Extensive form Game with Chance Moves

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
We design a mechanism of the players’ sustainable cooperation in multistage n-person game in the extensive form with chance moves. When the players agreed to cooperate in a dynamic game they have to ensure time consistency of the long-term cooperative ...

Equilibrium Solution in a Game between a Cooperative and its Members [PDF]

open access: yes
In the paper a game-theoretical model is set up to describe the conflict situation in which the members of a marketing cooperative may take advantage of an external market price, higher than that offered by the cooperative.
