Interpretable Machine Learning for Bandgap Prediction and Descriptor‐Guided Design Rules of Phosphates

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
An explainable CatBoost model was trained to predict the bandgaps of 474 phosphate crystals based on composition and density descriptors. SHAP analysis identified two key variables—d‐electron‐count dispersion and atomic‐density dispersion—as the primary drivers of the model's predictions.

Equilibrium Solution in a Game between a Cooperative and its Members

open access: yes
In the paper a game-theoretical model is set up to describe the conflict situation in which the members of a marketing cooperative may take advantage of an external market price, higher than that offered by the cooperative.

The Core of an Extended Tree Game: A New Characterisation [PDF]

open access: yes
Cost allocation problems on networks can be interpreted as cooperative games on a graph structure. In the classical standard tree game, the cost of a service delivered, by a source has to be allocated between homogeneous users at the vertices.

Game Theory Models and their Application in Inventory Management and Supply Chain

open access: yes, 2008
Analysis of supply chain politics can benefit from applying game-theory concepts extensively. Game theory tries to enlighten the interactions between individuals or groups of people whose goals are opposed conflicting, or at least partially competing. In

Shapley Additive Explanation for Local Class Differentiation: Local Explainability for Class Differentiation in Classification Models

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
An instance‐level, model‐agnostic explanation of class differentiation is introduced through SHAP‐LCD, linking probability shifts to feature‐wise Shapley contributions. The method operates on tabular and image data and is released in a fully reproducible implementation, offering a transparent way to examine, at each instance, why predictive models ...

Cooperative investment games or population games [PDF]

open access: yes
The model of a cooperative fuzzy game is interpreted as both a population game and a cooperative investment game. Three types of core- like solutions induced by these interpretations are introduced and investigated.

Talk to Your Data: An Agentic Artificial Intelligence‐Driven Decision‐Support Framework for Prosumer Energy Optimization and Recommendations

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
An agentic AI‐driven decision‐support framework for prosumers is proposed, integrating PV generation, load profiling, and multihorizon optimization within a four‐agent architecture. The approach significantly reduces grid dependence, enhances self‐sufficiency and prevents system oversizing.

Cooperative game theory and its application to natural, environmental, and water resource issues : 3. application to water resources [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper reviews various applications of cooperative game theory (CGT) to issues of water resources. With an increase in the competition over various water resources, the incidents of disputes have been in the center of allocation agreements. The paper
