Network Experimentation for Cooperative Localization
This paper introduces the notion of network experimentation and proposes an experimentation methodology particularly suited for cooperative wireless networks. Based on this methodology we performed extensive measurement campaigns and compare various cooperative localization techniques under a common setting.

Information Coupling in Cooperative Localization
IEEE Communications Letters, 2011Cooperative network localization with high-accuracy and environment-independent reliability will enable a myriad of important applications. However, distributed implementations of cooperative algorithms currently do not account for the correlation of inferred nodes' positions.

Narrowband cooperative network localization
We consider the problem of distributed cooperative location estimation in motionless and mobile narrowband wireless sensor networks (WSNs), where network terminals (to be localized) are several hops away from the anchor nodes (with a priori known location).

Intelligent Multisensor Cooperative Localization Under Cooperative Redundancy Validation [PDF]
Localization plays a key role in Internet of Things. This paper proposes a novel intelligent cooperative multisensor localization method called the edge cloud cooperative localization (ECCL) which has the range and angle observations from the neighbor ...

Cooperation and the Globalization-Localization Dilemmas
Complex Systems, 2022Evolution of cooperation among self-interested agents is revisited in this paper in the context of globalization and localization. A globalized society is characterized by disentrenchment—or routine interactions between strangers across subcultures. Such interactions are rich in novelty, but also have high levels of distrust and insecurity. A localized

Cooperative Perception and Localization for Cooperative Driving
2020 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA), 2020Fully autonomous vehicles are expected to share the road with less advanced vehicles for a significant period of time. Furthermore, an increasing number of vehicles on the road are equipped with a variety of low-fidelity sensors which provide some perception and localization data, but not at a high enough quality for full autonomy.

An Improved Variational Adaptive Kalman Filter for Cooperative Localization
In this paper, an improved variational adaptive Kalman filter for cooperative localization with inaccurate prior information is proposed, in which the prior scale matrix of the one-step prediction error covariance matrix is adaptively estimated by using ...

Distributed Cooperative Localization
Journal of Information Technology Research, 2013Localization for mobile platforms, in indoor scenarios, represents a cornerstone achievement to effective develop service and field robots able to safely cooperate. This paper proposes a methodology to achieve such a result by applying a completely decentralized and distributed algorithm.
