Multiple Measurement Techniques for Coordinate Metrology
Key Engineering Materials, 2008Reversal and multiple measurement techniques have been used in dimensional metrology [1]. The reversal technique in straightness measurement is very common method. The techniques are able to reduce the errors which come from a measuring instrument and compensate the errors automatically. The techniques are available to CMM measurements.

Combination of a vision system and a coordinate measuring machine for rapid coordinate metrology
SPIE Proceedings, 2002This paper presents a novel methodology that integrates a vision system and a coordinate measuring machine for rapid coordinate metrology. Rapid acquisition of coordinate data from parts having tiny dimension, complex geometry and soft or fragile material has many applications.

Calibration of photomasks for optical coordinate metrology
2013Optical coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) are widely used in industrial production for fast measurements on complex components. According to ISO 10360-7 the calibration and verification of these CMMs requires certified line scales or grid plates.

Principles of traceability in coordinate metrology
2018A general procedure has been prepared and validated at INRIM for calibrating standards virtually of any geometries. It is based on extending the traceability of auxiliary calibrated standards of simple geometry to the required complex geometry by means of a CMM.
