Multicell coordinated scheduling with multiuser ZF beamforming

2014 IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC), 2014
We investigate a coordinated scheduling problem in a two-cell network where in each cell, two users are scheduled for simultaneous communication. Zero-forcing (ZF) beamforming is employed at each base station to suppress both intra- and inter-cell interference.

Relay aided coordinated beamforming and interference neutralization

2017 Information Theory and Applications Workshop (ITA), 2017
We consider the Multi-Input Single Output (MISO) Interfering Broadcast Channel (IBC), in other words the multi-user (MU) multi-cell half duplex downlink in a cellular or heterogeneous network, aided by a full duplex MIMO relay. The Degrees of Freedom (DoF) are analyzed for joint coordinated beamforming by the base stations and interference ...

IDMA Network Connectivity With Coordinated Relaying Beamforming

Journal of Futuristic Sciences and Applications, 2021
This study proposes a new method of achieving geographic variety using cooperative relays in conjunction with IDMA to produce dispersed beams. Throughput in wireless networks is something that can perhaps be improved with this combo. The suggested concept requires a two-pronged approach to communication.

Decentralized Coordinated Downlink Beamforming via Primal Decomposition

IEEE Signal Processing Letters, 2011
This letter considers the design problem of coordinated downlink minimum power beamforming for a multiuser multi-cell network, where each multi-antenna base station (BS) serves multiple single antenna users. We propose a decentralized primal decomposition based algorithm where limited amount of information is exchanged between coupled BSs at each ...

Inter-Cell Coordination, Opportunistic Beamforming and Scheduling

2006 IEEE International Conference on Communications, 2006
In high speed downlink packet access systems (HS-DPA), opportunistic beamforming has been proposed as a viable technique for improving the system capacity by taking advantage of the multiuser diversity due to the time varying fluctuations of the mobile users channels. In opportunistic beamforming with proportional fair scheduling, mobile users who have

Coordinated beamforming design in multicell multicast networks

2012 IEEE Global Communications Conference (GLOBECOM), 2012
In this paper, we study the physical layer multicasting in multicell networks, where each base station equipped with multiple antennas transmits a common message using a single beamformer to multiple users equipped with a single antenna in the same cell.

Efficient coordinated beamforming and scheduling approaches for Heterogeneous Networks

2016 AEIT International Annual Conference (AEIT), 2016
Heterogeneous Networks deployment is considered one of the most promising enhancements to support future network capacity requests. However, access points densification means high frequency reuse and requires efficient interference management policies.

Coordinated Beamforming Technology in TD-LTE-Advanced System

2010 International Conference on Communications and Mobile Computing, 2010
As extension of MIMO technology in cellular system with multiple cell sites, Cooperative Network MIMO is a hot topic for the research of future wireless communication. In current study of TD-LTE-Advanced (LTE-Advanced TDD) system, various coordinated beamforming schemes have shown to be very promising candidates.

Comparison of Coordinated Beamforming and Non-Coordinated Multipoint using MMSE transceiver designs

2010 IEEE Sarnoff Symposium, 2010
The Coordinated Beamforming (CBF) and Non-Coordinated Multipoint (Non-CoMP) configurations are studied. The generalized iterative approach (GIA) is proposed to design the minimum mean square error (MMSE) transceivers for both configurations under arbitrary linear power constraints. In a cell edge setting, the number of transmitter receiver pairs in the
