Energy Storage Economic Optimization Scheduling Method for Multi-Scene Demand of Peak and Frequency Modulation

open access: yesEnergies, 2021
Energy storage (ES) only contributes to a single-scene (peak or frequency modulation (FM)) control of the power grid, resulting in low utilization rate and high economic cost.

Coordinated Beamforming with Relaxed Zero Forcing: The Sequential Orthogonal Projection Combining Method and Rate Control

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper, coordinated beamforming based on relaxed zero forcing (RZF) for K transmitter-receiver pair multiple-input single-output (MISO) and multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) interference channels is considered.

Dexamethasone for Chemotherapy‐Induced Nausea and Vomiting Prevention in Pediatric Patients: International Consensus

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background An international Delphi panel of experts developed consensus statements to delineate the circumstances where the risks of dexamethasone as an antiemetic do and do not outweigh its benefits. Procedure Experts in supportive care of pediatric patients were invited to participate.

Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.

Personalized Selumetinib Dosing in Pediatric Neurofibromatosis Type 1: Insights From a Pilot Therapeutic Drug Monitoring Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate selumetinib exposure using therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) in pediatric patients with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and plexiform neurofibromas (PN), assess interpatient pharmacokinetic variability, and explore the relationship between drug exposure, clinical response, and adverse effects.

Energy Management of Hybrid DC Microgrid with Different Levels of DC Bus Voltage for Various Load Types

open access: yesEnergies, 2023
This article suggests a hybrid DC microgrid (HDCMG) with different levels of DC bus voltages to use for various types of loads. The available sources in the HDCMG are wind generating systems (WGSs), photovoltaic (PV) systems, battery banks, and the AC ...

Physical and neural entrainment to rhythm: human sensorimotor coordination across tasks and effector systems. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The human sensorimotor system can be readily entrained to environmental rhythms, through multiple sensory modalities. In this review, we provide an overview of theories of timekeeping that make this neuroentrainment possible.
