Fully micromachined W-band rectangular waveguide to grounded coplanar waveguide transition
This study presents a novel grounded coplanar waveguide (CPW) to fundamental rectangular waveguide mode transition for W-band applications. The designed waveguide-to-CPW transition is optimised to achieve low-loss.

Modeling and analysis of coplanar waveguide (CPW) based multilayer on-chip inductors
Proceedings of the 2011 IEEE National Aerospace and Electronics Conference (NAECON), 2011CPW based multilayer inductors which can provide higher frequency band and Q factor value are studied and characterized so that a new microwave Equivalent circuit model may be found. In order to study the correlation between the inductance and the length, width and thickness of the conductor, EM structures of multilayer inductors are designed and ...

Design of a coplanar waveguide (CPW) bandpass filter with wide harmonic suppression
2017 International Conference on Wireless Communications, Signal Processing and Networking (WiSPNET), 2017In this present work a conductor-backed coplanar waveguide (CB-CPW) bandpass filter (BPF) centered at 2.8 GHz is proposed which consists of symmetrical L-shaped resonator pairs, shorted stubs, and L-shaped defected slot line (DSL). The center frequency of the proposed BPF can be tuned from 2.1 GHz to 3.8 GHz by changing the lengths of the resonator ...

Graphene reconfigurable coplanar waveguide (CPW)-fed circular slot antenna
2015 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation & USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting, 2015We report the initial study of the reconfigurable antenna composed of graphene, in which a coplanar waveguide (CPW)-fed circular slot antenna is presented. The simple circular antenna made of copper is connected with the graphene slot by a short circuiting stub, where the graphene slot can be tuned by DC voltage bias.

Computation of Microwave Attenuation on Coplanar Waveguide (CPW) with Complicated Cross-Section
International Journal of Infrared and Millimeter Waves, 2003Using a method of conformal finite-difference time domain (CFDTD), we present the analysis results of attenuation that may occur on the CPW with complicated cross-section up to 200GHz. The CPW is fabricated on lithium niobate which is an anisotropic material.

A coplanar waveguide (CPW) wideband octagonal microstrip antenna
2013 International Conference of Information and Communication Technology (ICoICT), 2013One of the vast evolution of wireless technology is WiMAX technology. The frequency band of WiMAX in Indonesia is 2.3 GHz (2.3-2.4 GHz) and 3.3 GHz (3.3-3.4 GHz). Antenna is one of the most important component in wireless communication. Due to the presence of two frequency bands of WiMAX used in Indonesia, there is a need to develop an antenna that can

Design of Appollian‐like gasket fractal antenna with coplanar waveguide (CPW)‐fed
Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2009AbstractThis article presents design of Appollian‐like gasket CPW‐fed fractal antenna. The antenna has been designed on FR4 substrate, εr = 4.3, with a thickness of 1.53 mm. The antenna has been fabricated and tested using VNA. The experimental result of this antenna shows the multiband behavior with the centre frequencies of 1.265, 4.66, and 7.8 GHz ...

Microplasma Generation in Low-Power Microwave Coplanar Waveguide (CPW) Structures
2018 IEEE International Conference on Plasma Science (ICOPS), 2018Cold plasma is a critical technology in many application fields. However, plasma sources are typically very expensive, require either high-voltage pulses (in the range of 100s of Volts to kV) or high-power RF/microwave sources (in the range of 10s of Watts to MW).

Coplanar Waveguide (CPW)-Fed Compact Dual Band Antenna for Wireless Applications
2018 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation & USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting, 2018A coplanar waveguide (CPW) fed compact dual band antenna for wireless applications with dual polarization is presented. The above characteristics are achieved by modifying the ground planes with slots in ground plane and short between the signal strip and one of the lateral ground plane.
