Ultra‐Efficient 0.1 V cm Lithium Niobate Modulator with >$\gt$ 200 GHz Bandwidth Using a High‐Permittivity Bragg Waveguide

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2026.
This work demonstrates thin‐film lithium niobate Mach–Zehnder modulators. One of these modulators achieves a voltage‐length product of 0.1 V cm, a driving voltage of 1 V, a device length of 1 mm, and a bandwidth exceeding 200 GHz. A high‐permittivity cladded Bragg grating waveguide is utilized to enhance modulation efficiency, enabling low‐voltage and ...

COMPARISON AND OPTIMIZATION OF DISPERSION, AND LOSSES OF PLANAR WAVEGUIDES ON BENZOCYCLOBUTENE (BCB) AT THZ FREQUENCIES: COPLANAR WAVEGUIDE (CPW), MICROSTRIP, STRIPLINE AND SLOTLINE [PDF]

open access: yesProgress In Electromagnetics Research B, 2013
This paper proposes an investigation in the terahertz (THz) frequency range of the dispersion and an individual quantitative treatment of the losses of the most classical microwave waveguides (coplanar, slotline, microstrip and stripline) numerically led in three dimensions (3D).

Investigation of the Resonance Phenomenon in a Microstrip to Grounded Coplanar Waveguide Structure

open access: yesInternational Journal of Numerical Modelling: Electronic Networks, Devices and Fields, Volume 39, Issue 1, January/February 2026.
ABSTRACT In this paper, we investigate the resonance phenomenon in a microstrip (MS) to grounded coplanar waveguide (GCPW) to MS structure. We demonstrate that the resonance arises from the relative phase difference between two excited modes in the GCPW.

Highly Transparent Ultrawideband Monopole Antenna With Conformal Sparse Metal Grids

open access: yesElectronics Letters, Volume 62, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
In this article, we propose an ultrawideband transparent antenna with adaptively ultra‐sparse grids. By processing the metal layer into a conformal sparse grid structure, the proposed design not only achieves excellent transparency and electrical performance but is also fabricated with an economical manufacturing process.
