Adsorption of Random Copolymers

open access: yes, 1989
Adsorption of polymers has a broad spectrum of industrial applications as a tool to control the stabilization of colloidal suspensions[l]. The problem is to overcome the aggregation tendency of solid particles, due to the their van der Waals attraction and one idea is to sterically protect the colloid with polymers[2].

Preparation and bactericidal effect of composites based on crosslinked copolymers containing silver nanoparticles

open access: yesPolímeros, 2010
Commercial copolymers based on styrene and divinylbenzene containing sulfonic acid groups were used as support for the incorporation of silver nanoparticles.

Rheological and Mechanical behaviour of Block copolymers, Multigraft copolymers and Block copolymer Nanocomposites

open access: yes, 2009
Block copolymers are commercially significant and fundamentally interesting class of polymeric materials. The ability to undergo interfacial thermodynamics-controlled microphase separation from a completely disordered state in the melt to a specifically defined ordered structure through self-organization makes the block copolymers based materials ...
