Copper Electroplated TPMS Polymer Lattices for Lightweight Absorption Dominant Electromagnetic Interference Shielding

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Copper electroplating transforms lightweight 3D‐printed TPMS polymer lattices into effective electromagnetic shields. Topology, relative density, and conductive seed layer continuity govern copper penetration, electrical resistance, and attenuation. SEA consistently exceeds SER, while 35% RD Diamond lattice gives the best performance, reaching 48.72 dB

Ligand‐Dependent Locally Excited and Charge‐Transfer Emission in Linear Copper(I) Mesoionic Carbene Luminophores

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Ligand engineering enables precise control of emission in linear Cu(I) complexes by tuning donor–acceptor interactions between electron‐rich amines and π‐accepting mesoionic carbenes. Naphthyl‐substituted carbenes promote locally excited phosphorescence with vibronic structure, whereas electron‐rich amides combined with electron‐poor carbenes favor ...

Heteroleptic Ag(I) Complexes Bearing Benzothiazole and Benzoxazole Ligands for Orange‐Red Light‐Emitting Electrochemical Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Light‐emitting Electrochemical Cells (LECs) are appealing electroluminescent devices with potential application in low‐cost, large‐area display technology and disposable devices. In the manuscript, a novel family of bright photo‐ and electro‐active heteroleptic silver(I) is presented and comprehensively investigated.

Piezoresistivity Enhancement by Graphite Flake Alignment in Thin Composite Films for Dielectric Elastomer Switches

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This article presents dielectric elastomer switch (DES) materials, based on composite thin films. Alignment of graphite flakes due to their physical confinement within the thin films lead to much stronger piezoresistive responses than bulk composites, while their durability exceeds that of conventional liquid‐based DES materials.

Intelligent Maintenance Review for Robots: Multimodal Information, Deep Diagnosis and Embodied Artificial Intelligence

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This review maps the methods to monitor robots’ health by fusing vibration, sound, control signals, vision, force, and oil information with artificial intelligence. It identifies deep learning, transfer learning, digital twins, and physics‐informed models as key methodological pathways enabling earlier diagnosis, safer human–robot collaboration, and ...

A Perspective on the Applications of Triphasic Gas Storage in Electrochemical Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Gas storage in microporous materials positioned locally at an electrode or electrocatalyst surface enhances electrochemical processes. Abstract Microporous materials store gases under dry conditions (e.g., hydrogen or oxygen via physisorption), but in some cases microporous materials also show triphasic (e.g., in a solid|gas|liquid system) gas storage ...

Rab1A Promotes Hepatic Steatosis by Suppressing Mitophagy via the Raf‐1/ERK1/2/PINK1 Signaling Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Why does fat accumulate in the liver? Our study reveals Rab1A as the molecular switch that silences the cell's mitochondrial cleanup crew. Turning Rab1A off reactivates mitophagy, clears excess fat, and reverses fatty liver disease in mice—offering a promising new therapeutic target for MASLD, a growing global health challenge.
