Compositions of Copulas and Quasi-Copulas
Information Sciences, 2004The object of the research here reported is the study of compositions of copulas, quasi-copulas and semicopulas by means of a two-place real function. Specifically, let A, B and O be mappings from [0, 1]2 into [0, 1], we characterize the properties of O which ensure O(A,B) is in the same class of A and B.

Extensions of Discrete Copulas to Sparse Copulas
IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, 2021In this article, we answer positively an open question posed in [G. Mayor, J. Suner, and J. Torrens, “Copula-like operations on finite settings,” IEEE Trans. Fuzzy Syst. , vol. 13, no. 4, pp. 468–477, Aug. 2005] concerning the extensions of discrete copulas to shuffles of Min.

We define discrete copulas on a grid of the unit square and show that with each discrete copula there is associated, in a natural way, a bistochastic matrix. This is used in order to introduce the product of discrete copulas. Discrete copulas of order n are the smallest convex set containing the irreducible discrete copulas of order n introduced by ...

OPPOSITE DIAGONAL SECTIONS OF QUASI-COPULAS AND COPULAS
International Journal of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge-Based Systems, 2009In this paper, we study opposite diagonal sections of quasi-copulas and copulas. The best-possible upper bound for the set of copulas with a given opposite diagonal section being known, we focus on the best-possible lower bound, which in general is a quasi-copula. Moreover, it exhibits an interesting type of bivariate symmetry called opposite symmetry.

On copulas that generalize semilinear copulas
Kybernetika, 2012Summary: We study a wide class of copulas which generalizes well-known families of copulas, such as the semilinear copulas. We also study corresponding results for the case of quasi-copulas.
