Point and Risk estImation Using an enSemble of Models for Nowcasting: PRISM‐Now

open access: yesJournal of Forecasting, Volume 45, Issue 6, Page 2760-2784, September 2026.
ABSTRACT We propose PRISM‐Now, a novel ensemble forecasting system for near‐term GDP projection. Recognizing that relevant economic information evolves over time, we treat forecasts from multiple base models as draws from a mixture distribution of “good” and “bad” estimates, whose composition changes continuously and cannot be identified ex ante.

“I'ma Superhero Too.”: A Critical Case Study of a Black Student's Biliteracy Journey

open access: yesThe Reading Teacher, Volume 80, Issue 2, September/October 2026.
ABSTRACT This article explores the biliteracy journey of Jamaal, an African American, in an elementary dual language bilingual education (DLBE) classroom. Although scholars have researched the biliteracy development and identity construction of bilingual children for decades, limited research has explored the biliteracy trajectory of African Americans ...

Estimating Functions Inference to Semi‐Parametric Additive Models for Skewed And/Or Heavy‐Tailed Longitudinal Data

open access: yesAustralian &New Zealand Journal of Statistics, Volume 68, Issue 3, September 2026.
ABSTRACT In many fields of research, it is common to conduct experiments where several observations of the response variable are made on the same subject over non‐random conditions, generating longitudinal studies. A wide variety of techniques deal with this type of data when analysing population variations, many based on estimating functions.

Intermediate clinical endpoints as surrogates for overall survival after salvage prostatectomy

open access: yesBJU International, Volume 138, Issue 3, Page 430-437, September 2026.
Objectives To evaluate biochemical recurrence‐free survival (BRFS) and metastasis‐free survival (MFS) as potential intermediate clinical endpoints (ICEs) for overall survival (OS) in patients undergoing salvage radical prostatectomy (sRP). Patients and Methods Evaluable patients were selected from a retrospective dataset, resulting in a cohort of 879 ...

Situated Attention and Strategic Leadership Interfaces: The Role of CEO Humility and Digital Transformation Urgency for Corporate Venture Capital Investments

open access: yesJournal of Management Studies, Volume 63, Issue 6, Page 3460-3493, September 2026.
Abstract Integrating the attention‐based view with the strategic leadership interfaces perspective, we propose a theoretical model of situational urgency mechanisms influencing the allocation of CEOs' attention towards responsive actions. Specifically, we theorize upon the role of humility, which leads CEOs towards embracing interfaces and makes them ...

Testing Copula Hypothesis with Copula Entropy

open access: yes
Testing copula hypothesis is of fundamental importance in the applications of copula theory. In this paper we proposed a copula hypothesis testing with copula entropy. Since copula entropy is a unified theory in probability and therefore testing copula hypothesis based on it can be applied to any types of copula function.
