Copy-move forgery detection based on hybrid features

Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, 2017
Abstract Copy-move forgery is one of the most popular tampering artifacts in digital images. Most existing keypoint-based detection methods may fail to precisely locate duplicated regions because there are not enough correct matched points. In this paper, a novel copy-move forgery detection method is proposed based on hybrid features.

Source-destination discrimination on copy-move forgeries

Multimedia Tools and Applications, 2021
Since digital images are one of the most important carriers of information, their authenticity is quite important. There are miscellaneous forgery techniques for manipulating digital images, and one of those is copy-move forgery. Many forgery detection techniques have been developed for detection of copy-move forgery so far.

Adaptive matching for copy-move Forgery detection

2014 IEEE International Workshop on Information Forensics and Security (WIFS), 2014
The objective of copy-move forgery detection methods are to find copied regions within the same image. There are two main approaches to detect copy-move forgery: keypoint-based and block-based methods. Although the former is superior in terms of computational complexity, these methods neglect the smooth regions since they confine their search to ...

Copy move forgery detection based on LBP

2013 21st Signal Processing and Communications Applications Conference (SIU), 2013
Increase on the availability of the image editing tools makes it easy to create digital forgeries. More popular forgery in image manipulation is the copy move forgery where part of an image is copied into another location to hide an object. The methods that are used to detect the copy move forgery in images have a drawback. Length of the feature vector

Security of copy-move forgery detection techniques

2011 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP), 2011
Copy-move forgery is a specific form of image tampering, where a part of a digital image is copied and pasted into a different part of the same image. There are many copy-move forgery detection techniques, but their security has not been examined in detail. In this paper, we analyze the robustness and security of the detection techniques of Fridrich [1]

Fast Copy-Move Detection of Digital Audio

2017 IEEE Second International Conference on Data Science in Cyberspace (DSC), 2017
Audio forgery is a critical part of digital forgery. There is a large variety of audio forgery forms, and copy-move is one of the most common but effective one. Merely one word's copy-move can turn the whole sentence into distinct meaning. So the way to detect this form of forgery precisely and effectively is especially useful and significant in the ...

An efficient model for copy-move image forgery detection

International Journal of Web Information Systems, 2022
Purpose This study aims to solve problems of detecting copy-move images. With input images, the problem aims to: Confirm the original or forgery of the images, evaluate the performance of the detection and compare the proposed method’s effectiveness to the related ones.

Copy-Move Forgery Detection Using DyWT

International Journal of Multimedia Data Engineering and Management, 2017
In this paper, we proposed a passive method for copy-move region duplication detection using dyadic wavelet transform (DyWT). DyWT is better than discrete wavelet transform (DWT) for data analysis as it is shift invariant. Initially we decompose the input image into approximation (LL1) and detail (HH1) sub-bands.

An Efficient Detection Algorithm for Copy-Move Forgery

2015 10th Asia Joint Conference on Information Security, 2015
The most common method of tampering with a digital image is copy-move forgery, in which a part of an image is duplicated and used to substitute another part of the same image at a different location. In this paper, we present an efficient and robust method to detect such artifacts.
