Copy-move forgery detection based on multifractals
Multimedia Tools and Applications, 2019Digital images and video are the basic media for communication nowadays. They are used as authenticated proofs or corroboratory evidence in different areas like: forensic studies, law enforcement, journalism and others. With development of software for editing digital images, it has become very easy to change image content, add or remove important ...

Copy-Move Forgery Detection Using DyWT
International Journal of Multimedia Data Engineering and Management, 2017In this paper, we proposed a passive method for copy-move region duplication detection using dyadic wavelet transform (DyWT). DyWT is better than discrete wavelet transform (DWT) for data analysis as it is shift invariant. Initially we decompose the input image into approximation (LL1) and detail (HH1) sub-bands.

An Efficient Detection Algorithm for Copy-Move Forgery
2015 10th Asia Joint Conference on Information Security, 2015The most common method of tampering with a digital image is copy-move forgery, in which a part of an image is duplicated and used to substitute another part of the same image at a different location. In this paper, we present an efficient and robust method to detect such artifacts.

An efficient and robust method for detecting copy-move forgery
2009 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing, 2009Copy-move forgery is a specific type of image tampering, where a part of the image is copied and pasted on another part of the same image. In this paper, we propose a new approach for detecting copy-move forgery in digital images, which is considerably more robust to lossy compression, scaling and rotation type of manipulations.

A two-stage localization for copy-move forgery detection
Information Sciences, 2018Abstract A two-stage localization for copy-move forgery detection (CMFD) is proposed in this paper. In the first stage, rough localization, Simple Linear Iterative Clustering (SLIC) is employed to segment the image into meaningful patches (superpixels).

Copy-Move Forgery Detection in Digital Image
2009Digital images are easy to be tempered and edited due to availability of image editing software. The most common ways to temper a digital image is copy-paste forgery which is used to conceal objects or produce a non-existing scene. To detect the copy-paste forgery, we divide the image into blocks as the basic feature for detection, and transfer every ...

Detection of copy move forgery using Legendre Moments
2016 24th Signal Processing and Communication Application Conference (SIU), 2016Today there are different manipulations on images. Copy move forgery is one of them. Copy move forgery means that; any part of an image is taken and added to another part of the same image in a professional way. To detect forgeries, image is divided into overlapped blocks and feature vectors are generated for every block. Feature vectors are tips about

COVERAGE — A novel database for copy-move forgery detection
2016 IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP), 2016We present COVERAGE — a novel database containing copy-move forged images and their originals with similar but genuine objects. COVERAGE is designed to highlight and address tamper detection ambiguity of popular methods, caused by self-similarity within natural images.

A proposed accelerated image copy-move forgery detection
2014 IEEE Visual Communications and Image Processing Conference, 2014Image forgery detection is currently one of the interested research fields of image processing. Copy-Move (CM) forgery is one of the frequently used techniques. In this paper, we propose a method which is efficient and fast for detect copy-move regions. The proposed method accelerates block matching strategy.
