Blue‐Emitting ZnSe(Te) Quantum Dots and Light‐Emitting Diodes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
. ABSTRACT Zn‐based quantum dots (QDs) have been regarded as the most promising Cd‐free candidates for blue‐emitting applications. ZnSe QDs exhibit an ultra‐narrow full width at half maximum (FWHM), high photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY), and excellent environmental stability, making them ideal for blue‐violet emitters.

International copyright and the challenges of digital technology

open access: yes, 2002
PhDDigital technology is challenging traditional copyright principles. Despite suggestions from a number of commentators that copyright cannot survive the challenge, this thesis aims to demonstrate that copyright can evolve and adapt rather than face ...

Functional Disorder at the Neural Interface: How Disordered Nanostructures Promote Proper Growth and Differentiation in In Vitro Neural Cultures

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work provides a practical guide for neuroengineers to design advanced neural interfaces, embracing and tailoring the concept of functional disorder. By bridging 2D and 3D in vitro models, this work highlights how non‐periodic, spatially heterogeneous, multiscale nanotopography can enable more physiologically relevant platforms for studying neural ...

Advances and Perspectives in Graphene‐Based Quantum Dots Enabled Neuromorphic Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Graphene‐based QDs are zero‐dimensional carbon nanomaterials with pronounced quantum confinement and tunable electronic structures. Herein, we summarize their synthesis strategies and functionalization methods, and highlight their functional roles and operating mechanisms in devices, as well as recent advances in neuromorphic electronics. We anticipate

Fan Works and the Environmental Law of Copyright

open access: yes, 2022
Ideas and expression of those ideas are natural resources, and copyright law should take that into account more fully than it does. As copyright law struggles for balance in the newly realigned discourse in which everyone is a potentially equal ...

Multiscale Architecture and Mechanics of the Cell Nucleus: Implications for Disease, Bioengineering and Nanomedicine

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Nuclear mechanical properties are inherently scale‐dependent, arising from a hierarchical architecture that spans DNA, chromatin, the nuclear envelope, and condensates. Experimental techniques and theoretical models are integrated into a cohesive multiscale framework linking nanoscale structural features to organelle‐level mechanical behavior.
