Arthroscopically Assisted Acromioclavicular Joint Reconstruction With 2.0-mm Tunnel in the Clavicle and Suture Looping Around the Coracoid Process [PDF]
Arthroscopic acromioclavicular joint (ACJ) reconstruction is widely applied in ACJ dislocation. A 4.0-mm bone tunnel is the most used size in the clavicle; drilling a bone tunnel in the coracoid process is also commonly applied.

Ipsilateral concomitant fractures of the clavicle and coracoid process of the scapula: incidence, characteristics, and outcomes [PDF]
Background Clavicle fractures associated with ipsilateral coracoid process fractures are very rare, with limited literature reporting only a few cases. This study reports on 27 patients with ipsilateral concomitant fractures of the clavicle and coracoid ...

Concomitant Coracoid Process Fracture with Bony Bankart Lesion Treated with the Latarjet Procedure [PDF]
Bony lesions of the glenoid and Hill-Sachs lesions are the most common injuries after a first-time traumatic shoulder dislocation. However, fracture of the coracoid process after traumatic shoulder dislocation is rare.

Morphometric analysis of the coracoid process and glenoid width: a 3D-CT study [PDF]
Background Data regarding the parameters of the coracoid process and glenoid width are insufficient, and information on gender, age, and ethnic differences in the parameters appear lacking in the Chinese population.

Coracoid Process: The Lighthouse of the Shoulder [PDF]
The coracoid process is a hook-shaped bone structure projecting anterolaterally from the superior aspect of the scapular neck. Surgeons often refer to the coracoid process as the "lighthouse of the shoulder" given its proximity to major neurovascular structures such as the brachial plexus and the axillary artery and vein, its role in guiding surgical ...

Coracoid process transfer for acromioclavicular dislocation
Seventeen patients with complete separation of the acromioclavicular joint were operated on acutely with transposition of the coracoid tip to the clavicle. All the patients were examined after a mean follow-up time of 7.5 years. Twelve patients had good function, 3 had slight pain in extreme positions, and 2 had poor function with pain at rest.

OSTEOTOMIES OF THE CORACOID PROCESS: AN ANATOMICAL STUDY
Relate the main tendinous and ligamentous structures attached in the coracoid process, correlating it to several levels of osteotomy and describing the involved structures.Thirty shoulders were dissected. The coracoid process with mainly inserted anatomic structures was dissected, and five levels of osteotomy (1.0; 1.5; 2.0; 2.5; 3.0 cm) were made from

Recurrent Shoulder Dislocations Secondary to Coracoid Process Fracture: A Case Report [PDF]
Coracoid process fracture is easily missed in recurrent anterior shoulder dislocation. We report one such case in a 48-year-old man. Radiology revealed the Bankart lesion and the Hill-Sachs lesion only; the coracoid process fracture was discovered intra ...
