Cordell Bank is a challenge to see in person. You have to go 20 miles out into the ocean and dive to about 150 ft. The biggest challenge in the early years (ca. 1980) was finding it. By “it” we mean a place that is less than 150 ft. deep, and there aren’t many. Initially we knew of only one spot, 120 ft.
