Meta‐Virtuality: Strategies of Disembeddedness in Virtual Interiorities

ABSTRACT To reclaim their seat in the rapidly growing market of virtual space, designers of the built environment can benefit from reevaluating theories that see the virtual as a mere extension/reflection of the physical. By claiming ontological autonomy from external worlds, the virtual is liberated from the hegemonic control of the physical.

Effect of Morphology and Spatial Distribution of Males on Vocal Identity in a Non‐Learning African Wood Dove

Emerald‐spotted Wood‐Dove songs show strong individual vocal signatures. Morphology explains little acoustic variation. Acoustic divergence increases with geographic distance between males, while local neighbor density does not influence vocal distinctiveness.

Determinants of Poor Health‐Related Quality of Life in Patients With Food Allergy

Machine‐learning analysis of 502 well‐characterised food‐allergic patients was used to identify key determinants of poor FA‐HRQL, defined as FAQLQ ≥ 5. The most relevant predictors were adult age, female sex, multiple food allergies, severe reactions, need for urgent care, onset before 18 years, and longer disease duration.
