A brief taxonomic and nomenclatural history of Zoraena Kirby and its species is presented. The adults of Z. bilineata n. sp. are described, and Z. bilineata n. sp., Z. diastatops (Selys), and Z. sayi (Selys) are figured. The new species may be readily distinguished from other species of Zoraena by the brown base color and less extensive yellow markings
