SYNTHESIS AND MORPHOLOGY OF CO/AUBIMETAL NANOPARTICLES WITH CORE-SHELL STRUCTURE

open access: yesВестник Кемеровского государственного университета, 2014
Bimetal systems of Co/Au nanoparticles with core-shell structure were synthesized by the reduction – electrochemical replacement reaction in aqueous solutions. The core-shell structure is proved by spectroscopy in the visible area and by SAXS.

Multimodal Data‐Driven Microstructure Characterization

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A self‐consistent autonomous workflow for EBSP‐based microstructure segmentation by integrating PCA, GMM clustering, and cNMF with information‐theoretic parameter selection, requiring no user input. An optimal ROI size related to characteristic grain size is identified.

Synthesis of Au@Pt Core-Shell Nanoparticles with High Electro-catalytic Activity of Methanol Oxidation by Photochemical Seeding Growth

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrochemical Science, 2013
Au@Pt core-shell nanoparticles were synthesized by photochemical seeding growth method in PEG-acetone system, in which the thickness of Pt shell could be controlled by changing the molar ratio of Au seed to Pt(IV).

In Situ Constructed Magnetic Core‐Shell Hydrogen‐Bonded Organic Framework‐on‐Metal–Organic Framework Structure: an Efficient Catalyst for Peroxymonosulfate Activation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, a magnetic core‐shell catalyst (HOF‐on‐Fe3O4/ZIF‐67) is successfully synthesized, consisting of a metal–organic framework (ZIF‐67) with magnetic Fe3O4 as the core and a porous hydrogen‐bonded organic framework (HOF) as the shell. The catalyst efficiently activated peroxymonosulfate, resulting in rapid and effective removal of water ...

Physical Insights Into Cylindrical Illusion Device With Isotropic and Homogeneous Materials

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
The cylindrical illusion device with isotropic and homogeneous materials is studied deeply based on the Mie scattering theory. The formula for illusion of core-shell structure is derived in the quasistatic approximation.

The Dynamics of Collapsing Monopoles and Regular Black Holes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
We study the formation and stability of regular black holes by employing a thin shell approximation to the dynamics of collapsing magnetic monopoles. The core deSitter region of the monopole is matched across the shell to a Reissner-Nordstrom exterior ...

Modelling exchange bias in core/shell nanoparticles

open access: yes, 2007
We present an atomistic model of a single nanoparticle with core/shell structure that takes into account its lattice strucutre and spherical geometry, and in which the values of microscopic parameters such as anisotropy and exchange constants can be ...

Enhancing Optoelectronic Properties in Phthalocyanine‐Based SURMOFs: Synthesis of ABAB Linkers by Avoiding Statistical Condensation with Tailored Building Blocks

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A novel phthalocyanine (PC)‐based metal–organic framework (MOFs) is synthesized using ditopic PC linkers obtained through regioselective statistical condensation. The resulting MOF exhibits significant improvements in electronic absorption, thereby enhancing the material's performance in light harvesting and energy conversion.
