Preliminary Study on Core Melt In-vessel Retention of Pool-type Sodium-cooled Fast Reactor
The inherent safety of reactor is emphasized in the design of the sodium-cooled fast reactors (SFRs). For accident mitigation, inherent safety and passive measures are adopted to reduce the demand for power sources and enhance safety and economy.

Prior Expectations Bias Confidence Judgments Through Parietal Alpha‐Band Modulation
ABSTRACT Humans possess the metacognitive ability to estimate the likely accuracy of their own decisions through confidence judgments. Yet, whether prior information shapes confidence and the neural mechanisms mediating such influence, remain to be determined.

Corals and Reef‐Dwelling Fish Regulate Carbon Storage and Cycling Processes in Coral Reef Ecosystems
Coral reefs are biodiversity hotspots, yet their role in carbon storage and cycling remains poorly understood. Using field surveys and modeling in the South China Sea, we reveal the overlooked potential of carbon storage in reef ecosystems and how reef fish, corals, and surface sediment jointly shape reef carbon reservoirs.

Traction Force Microscopy for Viscoelastic Substrates: A Semi‐Analytical Method
A semi‐analytical viscoelastic traction force microscopy framework is introduced for quantifying time‐resolved cell tractions on flat finite‐thickness substrates. The method generalizes elastic traction force microscopy to Generalized Maxwell materials, identifies when elastic approximations remain valid and, when they do not, shows that inferred ...

Analysis of feasibility of a new core catcher for the in-vessel core melt retention strategy
Abstract This study deals with the feasibility study of a new in-vessel core melt retention (IVCMR) strategy capable to extend the coping period in the event of adverse situations, involving the melting of the core. Since Fukushima accident, many studies have been carried out to resolve the severe accident mitigation issues related to the corium ...

The electrolyte engineering of introducing tetrakis(4‐N, N‐dimethylaminophenyl)porphyrin (TDMAP) is designed to modulate Li+ solvation structure and solid electrolyte interphase, where the interaction with PF₆− anions is altered (Li+–NMe2–PF₆−). Consequently, the cells with optimal additive concentration achieve high Coulombic efficiency (∼99%), and ...
