Magnetic field of a core barrel
Geological Society, London, Special Publications, 1995Abstract The magnetic field associated with a core barrel is almost entirely restricted to a small volume near to its tip and is insignificant within the barrel, except immediately adjacent to the wall. At the tip of the barrel the field is lowest along its axis and directed almost entirely parallel to it.

Field transients in saturable cores
Archiv für Elektrotechnik, 1985Field build-up in saturable cores is considered from the point of view of classical electrodynamics. Results are quoted in terms of tabulated functions.

Pharmacoepidemiology: defining the field and its core content
Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety, 2012ABSTRACTPurposeEmerging interests in pharmacoepidemiology make it important to define the profession's core content. The International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE)'s Education Committee sought to develop a consensus on its core disciplines.

Geomagnetic Core Field Secular Variation Models
Space Science Reviews, 2009We analyse models describing time changes of the Earth’s core magnetic field (secular variation) covering the historical period (several centuries) and the more recent satellite era (previous decade), and we illustrate how both the information contained in the data and the a priori information (regularisation) affect the result of the ill-posed ...

Field Server Engine as Hardware core of Field Servers
Computers in Agriculture and Natural Resources, 23-25 July 2006, Orlando Florida, 2013Field Server is composed of durable casing, Web-server, multiple sensors, network-camera, wireless LAN card, high intensity LED lighting etc. The most important part in Field Server is a core card, Field Server Engine (FSE). The FSE functions as Web server, advanced data acquisition system (16ch), signal generator, remote controller for external ...

Electromagnetic field diffusion in axisymmetric hysteretic cores
IEEE International Digest of Technical Papers on Magnetics Conference, 2002Summary form only given. The analysis of electromagnetic field diffusion is essential in different engineering applications, such as the design of electrical machines and actuators, induction heating, etc. This problem is often made complex by the hysteretic behaviour of the ferromagnetic materials, by eddy currents arising in the core and by the ...

Interpretation of Core Field Models
2010In this chapter we review several recent research results on the observed geomagnetic secular variation and secular acceleration, the core flow models inferred from these observations, and their implications, in particular those of the torsional oscillations, on short period secular variation and on the dynamical properties inside the core.

The Temperature Field of the Body Core
2001For many aspects of temperature regulation, it is sufficient to treat the temperature of the body core as a uniform entity. However, it is a simplification. The temperature of an organ, and, in fact, of any site within it, depends on the temperature of the arterial blood flowing into the organ, local heat production and local rate of blood flow.

Coring in the Oklahoma City Field
Transactions of the AIME, 1933Abstract The author has made a statistical analysis of the relations between recoveryand length of cores, diameters of cores and of drill pipe, and cost of coringunder different contractual conditions. The data are presented in tabularform.

Field-Deployed Multi-Core Fiber Testbed
2019 24th OptoElectronics and Communications Conference (OECC) and 2019 International Conference on Photonics in Switching and Computing (PSC), 2019We installed a multi-core fiber (MCF) cable in underground tunnels in a city in Italy, without significant crosstalk degradation in uncoupled MCFs, and with the lowest-ever spatial mode dispersion in randomly-coupled MCFs.
