Bridging the gap: Multi‐stakeholder perspectives of molecular diagnostics in oncology
Although molecular diagnostics is transforming cancer care, implementing novel technologies remains challenging. This study identifies unmet needs and technology requirements through a two‐step stakeholder involvement. Liquid biopsies for monitoring applications and predictive biomarker testing emerge as key unmet needs. Technology requirements vary by

Whole genome profiling to generate a core physical map of the gene rich part of the sugarcane genome : [W778] [PDF]
The sugarcane genome poses challenges that have not been addressed in any prior genome sequencing project. The main difficulties reside in its high polyploidy (2n ~ 12x ~ 120), and its high level of heterozygosity which makes an assembly of the whole ...

core
We have employed whole genome sequencing to define and evaluate a core genome multilocus sequence typing (cgMLST) scheme for Acinetobacter baumannii. To define a core genome we downloaded a total of 1,573 putative A.

A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

A comparative analysis of library prep approaches for sequencing low input translatome samples
Background Cell type-specific ribosome-pulldown has become an increasingly popular method for analysis of gene expression. It allows for expression analysis from intact tissues and monitoring of protein synthesis in vivo.

Modeling hepatic fibrosis in TP53 knockout iPSC‐derived human liver organoids
This study developed iPSC‐derived human liver organoids with TP53 gene knockout to model human liver fibrosis. These organoids showed elevated myofibroblast activation, early disease markers, and advanced fibrotic hallmarks. The use of profibrotic differentiation medium further amplified the fibrotic signature seen in the organoids.
