Methods of Gauss–Jordan elimination to compute core inverse and dual core inverse

Linear and Multilinear Algebra, 2020
In this paper, two formulas, which were studied by Wang and Liu (2015) and Ma and Li (2019), respectively, for the core inverse, are simplified.

Core–EP inverse

Linear and Multilinear Algebra, 2013
In this work, we introduce a notion of ‘core–EP inverse’ for a square matrix which is not essentially of index one. This extends the notion of ‘core inverse’, which was initially defined for the matrices of index one. The properties of matrices having ‘core–EP inverse’ and ‘core–EP generalized inverse’ are studied, and obtained a formula to compute the

Core inverse of matrices

Linear and Multilinear Algebra, 2010
This article introduces the notion of the Core inverse as an alternative to the group inverse. Several of its properties are derived with a perspective towards possible applications. Furthermore, a matrix partial ordering based on the Core inverse is introduced and extensively investigated.

Core inverse versus basis inverse

ACM SIGMAP Bulletin, 1982
Most revised simplex techniques, the majority of their presentations in the textbooks, and almost all EDP codes in LP are based on the <u>"Basis Inverse"</u>. This is an <u>asymmetric</u> concept and includes an identity matrix. The algorithms and the organisation of data are <u>column</u> oriented.

A new extension of the core inverse

Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics
It is well known that none of the various generalizations of the core inverse of a matrix proposed so far (e.g., the core-EP inverse, the DMP inverse, and the GC inverse) serve as an inner inverse of the given matrix. Further, such generalizations of inverses do not exist for nilpotent matrices.
