Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

The m-weak core inverse relative to a Hermitian weight

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica
In this paper, we introduce the concept of E-relative m-weak core inverse of a square matrix as a common extension of the E-weighted core-EP inverse and the m-weak core inverse.

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Inverse design of core-shell particles with discrete material classes using neural networks

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2022
The design of scatterers on demand is a challenging task that requires the investigation and development of novel and flexible approaches. In this paper, we propose a machine learning-assisted optimization framework to design multi-layered core-shell ...

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

Characterizations and representations of weak core inverses and $m$-weak group inverses

open access: yesTurkish Journal of Mathematics, 2023
In a ring with an involution, we first present some necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of the $m$-weak group inverse and expression. As an application, we prove that a regular element $a$ is $(m+1)$-weak group invertible if and only if $a^2a^{-}$ is $m$-weak group invertible, where $a^{-}$ is an inner inverse of $a$.

Single‐cell DNA methylation profiling: Technologies, computation, and applications in precision oncology

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell DNA methylation (scDNAme) profiling maps epimutational clonal evolution, revealing mechanisms of malignancy and therapeutic resistance across diverse cancer types. By providing a high‐resolution landscape of intratumoral heterogeneity, these technologies empower precise patient stratification, guide the development of enhanced ...

The m-CCE Inverse in Minkowski Space and Its Applications

open access: yesAxioms
In this paper, we introduce a new generalized inverse called m-CCE inverse which presents a generalization of the CCE inverse in Minkowski space by using the m-core-EP decomposition and the Minkowski inverse.

Versatile vector tools for efficient protein screening across multiple expression systems

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
A unified vector toolkit enables rapid protein expression screening across E. coli, insect, and mammalian cells. A single primer pair amplifies the target gene, which is inserted into any vector via a standardized interface. This streamlined workflow eliminates repeated cloning steps, accelerating the identification of optimal expression conditions for
