Gains and losses at core allocations

Journal of Mathematical Economics, 1975
Abstract The search for a coalition which can possibly improve upon a given allocation and the redistribution of endowments within such a coalition are conducted through the use of prices. Prices permit the expression of how much every agent gains or loses in the allocation.

Core loss in amorphous cut cores with air gaps

IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1989
The effects of air gaps on the high-frequency core loss in cut cores made of amorphous ribbons are discussed and methods to reduce the core loss in them are proposed. It has been found that the high-frequency core loss in amorphous cut cores with air gaps increases strikingly with increasing air-gap length. The increase in the core loss due to air gaps

On the coefficients of core loss formulas for electrical machines

IECON 2012 - 38th Annual Conference on IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2012
In this paper the behavior of core loss coefficients is studied using a new method of core loss separation. This method eliminates the assumption of uniform magnetic field distribution in a material especially at high frequencies. With this separation method, the hysteresis and eddy current coefficients are calculated using the original Steinmetz ...

Squirrel-cage induction-motor core losses

Journal of the A.I.E.E., 1925
An experimental method is presented for segregating the various no-load losses of a squirrel-cage induction motor. It is shown that for insulated rotor bars the losses consist principally of stator fundamental-frequency losses, rotor surface losses and eddy-current losses in the rotor bars due to radial and tangential slot-leakage fluxes in the rotor ...
