Classification of prostatic adenocarcinoma as favourable/unfavourable histology has high interobserver agreement in prostate needle core biopsies

open access: yesHistopathology, Volume 87, Issue 5, Page 717-725, November 2025.
The classification of prostatic adenocarcinoma as favourable/unfavourable histology was recently proposed as an optimized method for predicting metastatic risk. We demonstrate high interobserver agreement among 10 pathologists after reviewing a simple tutorial.

Assessment of Diagnostic Tools to Detect Acute Gas Bubble Disease in Atlantic Salmon (Salmo salar L.)

open access: yesJournal of Fish Diseases, Volume 48, Issue 11, November 2025.
ABSTRACT Currently, diagnosis of gas bubble disease (GBD) in fish relies on visual observations of bubbles in various body parts and exophthalmus. These observations lack quantified information about gas bubble load, limiting their diagnostic value.

Navigating the Hepatic Immune Landscape With Fine Needle Aspiration of the Liver—An Emerging Technique

open access: yesLiver International, Volume 45, Issue 11, November 2025.
ABSTRACT Background and Aims Hepatic immune cell analysis is critical for understanding chronic inflammatory liver diseases, such as primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) and steatotic liver disease. However, liver immunoprofiling is limited due to reliance on end‐stage disease liver explants.

Cell‐free DNA aneuploidy score as a dynamic early response marker in prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 19, Issue 10, Page 2822-2832, October 2025.
mFast‐SeqS‐based genome‐wide aneuploidy scores are concordant with aneuploidy scores obtained by whole genome sequencing from tumor tissue and can predict response to ARSI treatment at baseline and, at an early time point, to ARSI and taxanes. This assay can be easily performed at low cost and requires little input of cfDNA. Cell‐free circulating tumor
