Core Activities [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
AbstractIn this chapter, the central question is which core activities you will undertake in order to achieve your goal, organizing your value proposition with success. Because you are working towards a specific goal, and with selected strategies, it is useful to state which (core) activities are necessary to realize your sustainable business model ...

The t-core of an s-core

open access: yesJournal of Combinatorial Theory, Series A, 2011
We consider the $t$-core of an $s$-core partition, when $s$ and $t$ are coprime positive integers. Olsson has shown that the $t$-core of an $s$-core is again an $s$-core, and we examine certain actions of the affine symmetric group on $s$-cores which preserve the $t$-core of an $s$-core. Along the way, we give a new proof of Olsson's result.

Composite Cores: Pushing Heterogeneity Into a Core [PDF]

open access: yes2012 45th Annual IEEE/ACM International Symposium on Microarchitecture, 2012
Heterogeneous multicore systems -- comprised of multiple cores with varying capabilities, performance, and energy characteristics -- have emerged as a promising approach to increasing energy efficiency. Such systems reduce energy consumption by identifying phase changes in an application and migrating execution to the most efficient core that meets its

Avaliação da Poluição Antrópica Usando Padrão de Distribuição deEspécies de Foraminíferos Provenientes de Testemunhos da Baía de Guanabara, RJ. [PDF]

open access: yesAnuário do Instituto de Geociências, 2007
This work presents a study of benthic foraminifera recovered from three cores collected near the Paquetá island, in the Guanabara bay, Rio de Janeiro, southeastern Brazil. The cores have different sizes and were subsampled in centimetric intervals.

Experimental Study of the Compressive Strength of Multi-Coat Renders [PDF]

open access: yesMaterials Research, 2017
Mortar compressive strength is a standard requirement and should be tested on stand-ardized specimens with a 40 mm square cross section. However, these specimens with only one type of mortar (base-coat layer) do not represent the render traditionally ap ...

European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Solid Pseudopapillary Neoplasm of the Pancreas in Children and Adolescents: Expert Recommendations

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm of the pancreas (SPN) is a rare low‐grade malignant exocrine pancreatic tumor, mostly discovered during the second decade of life in females, with a very good prognosis, provided microscopically complete surgical excision is achieved.

Instability in internal solitary waves with trapped cores [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
A numerical method that employs a combination of contour advection and pseudo-spectral techniques is used to investigate instability in internal solitary waves with trapped cores. A three-layer configuration for the background stratification in which the
