At 5 weeks of development, the midgut has formed its primary loop (left). It is well established that the midgut is bounded cranially by the caudal end of the ventral mesentery and the presence of the common bile duct, but its caudal boundary remains to be established.

Estimating National and Foreign Trade Elasticities Using Generalized Transport Costs
ABSTRACT We introduce the definition of two distinct trade elasticities corresponding to imports from regions located in the same country (national elasticities) and foreign regions located in other countries (foreign elasticities). We resort to a three‐tier nested CES utility structure to derive the corresponding demand gravity equations.

Unilateral Action on Climate Change and the Moral Obligation to Take Leadership
ABSTRACT We claim that a moral obligation to take climate leadership by means of unilateral mitigation depends on the existence of a plausible follow‐the‐leader mechanism whereby unilateral mitigation by some increases the probability of sufficient mitigation by others to avert catastrophic climate impacts.
