Frequency Independent Method for RCS Reduction of Dihedral Corners Using Metasurfaces
2019 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation and USNC-URSI Radio Science Meeting, 2019Using orthogonality principles and array theory, a frequency independent method for reducing the Radar Cross Section (RCS) in the entire concave region of dihedral corners is developed and validated. The proposed technique can further be applied for broadband RCS reduction of complex corners and open-ended cavities where fields undergo multiple bounces.

On two characteristic frequencies of acceleration spectra: Patch corner frequency andfmax
Bulletin of the Seismological Society of America, 1988AbstractWe examine two issues related to the radiation of tectonic earthquake sources: (i) the complexity of the shape of observed source spectra, and (ii) the effect of recording site characteristics on the cut-off frequency fmax of acceleration spectra beyond which spectral amplitudes diminish sharply. We compute the far-field spectra of the 1979 ...

Real-Time Barcode Objects Localization by Combining Frequency and Corner Features
2016A 2D barcode region localization system for the automatic inspection of logistics objects has been developed. For the successful 2D barcode localization, frequency of the pixel distribution within average 2D barcodes is modeled and the average model of 2D barcode is combined with the corner features to localize the objects having high possibility of 2D

The corner frequency shift, earthquake source models, andQ
Bulletin of the Seismological Society of America, 1981abstractThe very common seismological observation that the P waveform is enriched in high-frequency motion relative to the S waveforms of the same earthquake manifests itself, in spectral studies of the earthquake mechanism, as the “corner frequency shift,” the general although not ubiquitous tendency for the P-wave corner frequency fo(P) to be greater

Retrieval of source-extent parameters and the interpretation of corner frequency
Bulletin of the Seismological Society of America, 1983AbstractA method is proposed for retrieving source-extent parameters from far-field body-wave data. At low frequency, the normalized P- or S-wave displacement amplitude spectrum can be approximated by |Ω^(r^,ω)| = 1 − τ2(r^)ω2/2 where r^ specifies a point on the focal sphere.
