The Determination Method of Corner Length Using Depolarizing Trihedral Corner Reflectors
Abstract It is already been testified that, with the help of corrugations, depolarizing trihedral corner reflectors can be applied in polarization stimulation of targets. However, how to choose the size of the reflector to stimulate a target is still indistinct.

Phase Field Failure Modeling: Brittle‐Ductile Dual‐Phase Microstructures under Compressive Loading
The approach by Amor and the approach by Miehe and Zhang for asymmetric damage behavior in the phase field method for fracture are compared regarding their fitness for microcrack‐based failure modeling. The comparison is performed for the case of a dual‐phase microstructure with a brittle and a ductile constituent.

Long-term degradation of optical devices on the moon
Forty years ago, Apollo astronauts placed the first of several retroreflector arrays on the lunar surface. Their continued usefulness for laser-ranging might suggest that the lunar environment does not damage optical devices.

From a database of 170 pentagonal 2D materials, 4 candidates exhibiting altermagnetic ordering are screened. Furthermore, the spin‐splitting and unconventional boundary states in the pentagonal 2D altermagnetic monolayer MnS2 are investigated. A MnS2‐based altermagnetic tunneling junction is designed and, through ab initio quantum transport simulations,

Dynamic Doppler Characteristics of Maritime Airborne Corner Reflector
The maritime airborne corner reflector (ACR) is a radar reflector that can measure wind speed in an unknown sea area in real time over a long distance. To improve our understanding of how the ACR works, we investigated the Doppler characteristics of the ...
