Multimodal Human–Robot Interaction Using Human Pose Estimation and Local Large Language Models

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A multimodal human–robot interaction framework integrates human pose estimation (HPE) and a large language model (LLM) for gesture‐ and voice‐based robot control. Speech‐to‐text (STT) enables voice command interpretation, while a safety‐aware arbitration mechanism prioritizes gesture input for rapid intervention.

Vortical characteristics of the corner separation flow in a high-speed compressor cascade

Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part C: Journal of Mechanical Engineering Science, 2022
In aero-engine compressors, corner separations cause blockage, loss generation, and flow instabilities. The aim of the current study is to gain better knowledge of the vortical structures in corner separation flows and their resultant blockage and loss ...

Solidity effect on corner separation and its control in a high-speed low aspect ratio compressor cascade

International Journal of Mechanical Sciences, 2018
Three-dimensional (3D) corner separation flow is the main source of losses and blockages in compressors, and it is vital to the compressor performance. This paper investigates the solidity effect on the evolution of 3D corner separation in a high-speed ...

Numerical Resolution of Compressor Corner Separation Problem

Volume 2C: Turbomachinery, 2020
Abstract Corner separation is a common flow phenomenon within compressors that can significantly affect the compressor performance. The RANS turbulence closures, commonly used in the industrial CFD simulations, often struggle to predict corner separation with reasonable accuracy.
