Functional Stroke Mimics: Patient Characteristics, CT‐Based Multimodal Imaging and Long‐Term Outcome in a Comparative Cohort Study

Functional stroke‐like episodes are increasingly recognised as stroke mimics. In a study of 25 cases who underwent hyperacute multimodal CT, patients were younger than their counterparts with acute ischaemic strokes and often had a psychiatric and functional disorder background.
