Flow capacities of arterial grafts for coronary artery bypass grafting

The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, 1993
The flow capacities of arterial and saphenous vein grafts in 100 patients who had coronary artery bypass grafting were compared under exercise conditions by continuous ventricular function monitoring, which records serial beat-to-beat radionuclide data and calculates left ventricular ejection fractions every 20 seconds.

The future of coronary artery bypass grafting

Minerva Cardiology and Angiology
Coronary artery bypass grafting has evolved considerably since it was introduced approximately 50 years ago, with continuously improved patient outcomes as a result of this growth. The most up-to-date evidence on topics such as graft patency, grafting strategy, approaches to graft harvesting, minimally invasive coronary artery bypass grafting, and ...

Radial-Artery Grafts for Coronary-Artery Bypass Surgery

New England Journal of Medicine, 2018
Gaudino et al. (2018 May 31 issue of NEJM) report a lower risk of the composite of death, myocardial infarction, or repeat revascularization with radial-artery graft than with saphenous-vein graft revascularization during coronary-artery bypass grafting (CABG).

An Arterial and Venous Graft Holder for Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting

The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, 2008
An innovative arterial and venous graft holder has been developed for use during proximal and distal anastomosis in coronary artery bypass grafting. The device consists of a flexible arm and a handle. The handle in turn is composed of three parts: (1) a T-shaped body, (2) an atraumatic clip for holding the graft, and (3) a coronary probe attached by an

Coronary Artery Bypass Graft for Anomalous Right Coronary Artery

Journal of Cardiac Surgery, 2010
A 27-year-old man with anomalous right coronary artery (RCA) presented with ventricular fibrillatory arrest. Computed tomography angiography revealed an anomalous RCA arising from the left sinus of Valsalva with an acute angulation at the coronary takeoff and compressed interarterial segment.
