Invasive Versus Conservative Treatment Strategy in Older Patients With Non‐ST Segment Elevation Acute Coronary Syndromes: A Meta‐Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials

open access: yesJournal of the American Geriatrics Society, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Non‐ST segment elevation acute coronary syndromes (NSTE‐ACS) are a common cause of hospital admission in older patients. Severe Periodontitis is Associated With Recurrent Cardiovascular Events—A 10‐Year Longitudinal Cohort Study

open access: yesJournal of Periodontal Research, EarlyView.
One thousand and two patients with cardiovascular disease (CVD) were observed over 10 years. Data were collected from 792 study participants. Fascicular/Purkinje Tissue Colocalized With Scar in Cardiomyopathy Patients Undergoing Ventricular Fibrillation Ablation

open access: yesPacing and Clinical Electrophysiology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Ventricular fibrillation (VF) is a poorly understood arrhythmia that is one of the main mechanisms of sudden cardiac death in patients with structural heart disease (SHD). Fascicular and Purkinje tissue (FPT) has been implicated in VF.
